Biography
Mengru Zhao received her PhD in Commerce from Waseda University in 2025. She began her academic career at Waseda's School of Commerce, first as a research associate in 2023 and then as an assistant professor in 2025, before joining the Faculty of Business Sciences at the University of Tsukuba in April 2026.
Her research focuses on how people behave and interact in online communities. She also studies how digital collaboration tools and AI are changing communication and work in organizations.
