BAN Masataka received the Ph.D. from the Tohoku University Graduate School of Economics and Management in 2007. Since April 2015, he joined Graduate School of Business Sciences, University of Tsukuba (currently known as Degree Programs in Business Sciences). Currently he is associate professor at the Master's Program in Business Administration and Doctoral Program in Business Administration. His academic specialty is Marketing Science. He is interested in Bayesian modeling techniques, especially, hierarchical Bayes model, discrete choice model and nonparametric Bayes model for marketing phenomena.
